Cricut Cake Birthday

Okay, I tried. What a time I had. I had purchased the Frosting Sheets, Wilton Fondant and Provocraft Gum Paste. The Frosting sheets I will not buy again. They cost a lot and would not cut for me. They did not crumble so they were not dry, but they just seemed to fold up so that the next cut tore up. The Gum Paste was tough to use. I did put in microwave to soften and it did cut the numbers on the cake, but I couldn't get it to cut anymore after that. My palms are so sore from rolling the gumpaste they hurt and look red. Last the Wilton Fondant I used to cut the letters/fonts and it seemed to be the best. I used Cuttin Up Cart for the letters Marlene, Sweet Treats for the number 43 and the happy birthday which cut fine but doesn't look defined. Not easy, but I guess it takes loads of practice. Finally I have a Lemon Supreme Cake. It may not look the greatest, but it tastes good.
